George’s Place is a great place to stay. It is spotlessly clean, very comfortable, well equipped and the welcome package was a lovely touch. The location is great, with a nice park behind the cottage itself and a friendly pub in walking distance. Short drive to Alton Towers and other attractions. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed at George's Place for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. The house was lovely, clean, comfortable, and in a safe, quiet area. It's also very close to Alton Towers, which made it the perfect location for us. A big thank you to Yvonne for being such a great host. We really appreciated the thoughtful welcome with fresh bread, milk, sweets, and a bottle of rosé waiting for us in the fridge. It was such a kind touch and made us feel at home. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

Loved the cleanliness, welcome gifts and comfort items incl bread and milk which was really useful as we arrived on a sunday evening. Much appreciated.
The walled entrance to the drive is very narrow and tricky. Would be great if widened. The kitchen table is unsteady which was tricky with kids - might just need tightening. Thanks
