There was support available when required. The host and the staff are keen to help. Located opposite a lovely park and in a quiet area, close to shops.

I rated this property as excellent based on the price. It is excellent value for money despite few issues. Room is good, freshly decorated enough. TV was big enough. Internet was good. Room was clean as far I could tell. Bathroom was fine, clean enough. The location has some good advantages: within walking distance of Tipton station, near canal, good for walks, opposite Tipton park
Check in was not the best. I was early to be fair as I managed to take earlier train. I rang the bell 3 times 3-4 times before a lodger came to open the door after 35 minutes. As I was early and nobody was answering, I thought somebody will probably come after a while and I didn't mind waiting. Tenant told me to be unwell, gave me no other instruction other than here are the two keys, took me to my room and went away as soon as possible as unwell. I could see my arrival was not welcome due to illness and also a lodger not having any part in the business does not see guests as a positive think. They can bring noise, take space in shared bathroom, some may be dirty... I used kitchen as there was no kettle in room and nowhere near for breakfast. Contrarily to rest of house, the kitchen was filthy: food on the floor, cooker I didn't use was oily everywhere, walls, surfaces, apparatus were all stained with food marks. Second tenant who was friendly walked barefoot on the floor where there was food and not been cleaned in ages. It confirmed to me people living there have very low hygiene standards. Someone must spend time cleaning this kitchen and ask long term tenants to keep it clean. Other than that and overall for the price I paid, I'd recommend this place. Work on welcome and hygiene and it will be even better.

No keys when we got there,had to wait for the room to be cleaned and no remote for the tv
