Unlivable and unsafe

This is the worst stay I have had in about 10 years on Booking.com. We checked in to a broken bed. Non-working washing machine. Mold in the shower, a smell of mold in the entire apartment. The noises from the bars on the street are until 2:30ish am and we stayed Monday and Tuesday nights. Broken glass on the floor in the kitchen, black loose hair in the shower pan. Broken desk chair - (one of the screws was missing) so when my wife sat to do some work on her laptop the chair tilted off to the one side. The mattress is not just rock hard, but it has springs sticking out of it taking turns, as soon as you roll over to any side the springs on the other start popping right up behind your back. It would have probably been safer to sleep on the floor, but the place had only one thin blanket that smelled like mold and two very old pillows. The towel hook in the shower was not attached, so it fell on my wife’s foot when she grabbed the towel. The place does not look like the photos: the kitchen table is stained with previous spills and pots and does not look washable. There is a storage of old clutter in the kitchen area which is not in the photos. The kitchen cutlery we’re very old. The cutting board looks like it has been used and abused for the last may be 30 years. We did not risk using any parts of kitchen, because it didn’t look safe. We are not big on cooking when traveling, we just like to have a coffee and a snack at wherever we stay, but this place was unfit even for this. We were made to pay extra outside of the app otherwise we would not get check-in details, after this was paid I had a few additional charges tried from my credit card within the same minute, and thankfully my bank blocked the larger amounts. My wife and I travel at least 2 times a year around North America and Europe this trip included a month in Italy 7 cities.

Unfortunately, this was not a pleasant experience and I wouldn’t recommend it.

The location is good

I stayed at this place and was truly disappointed. It felt almost like sleeping on the street – there was absolutely no sound insulation, and the noise from outside went on until 5 AM, which was unbearable. The listing says there’s parking, but in reality, there isn’t any available, which caused a lot of unnecessary hassle. The bathroom also wasn’t very clean.

If you plan also sleep, pick something else. Otherwise everything is close.

very good location to explore the city by walk well clean equipped by towels and shower needs very good wifi all shopping and restaurants nearby

unbelievable noisy place - yelling people and music are literally in your bedroom whole night get it is not so easy communication with host just texting via Whatsapp last day no chance to leave luggage in even for a few hours very basic kitchen equipment do not expect any help each reception desk or other host would offer

Ottima posizione: a due passi dalla metropolitana e dalla strada principale di Toledo. Esci di casa e ti ritrovi subito nella movida dei quartieri, tra bar, musica e divertimento. Consiglio vivamente questa struttura dotata di ogni comfort. Un ringraziamento ai proprietari, super gentili e disponibili. Ci vediamo presto 🩷

Ottima la posizione vicinissima alla metro Toledo, anche la casa dispone dei servizi necessari per una bella gita a Napoli.

L’unica pecca è che, trovandosi nel cuore dei Quartieri Spagnoli, la musica può protrarsi fino a tarda notte; tuttavia è qualcosa di prevedibile per la zona e quindi nel complesso sopportabile.
