The floors are are creaky in some areas. Please be aware that you may experience creaking floors while moving about the apartment, as well as footsteps and muffled sounds from guests in the apartment above. If a perfectly quiet accommodation with no adjacent neighbors is a must, our place may not be a good fit for your stay. *Our home has efficient baseboards heaters in each room, but is not equipped with air conditioning. *The laundry room is shared with the upper apartment. Each apartment has their own machines, but the machines are in a common area on the basement level of the building. The laundry machines are free. The host resides locally and is available from 7am - 10pm to assist guests. The location offers easy access to Downtown Seattle in 15-20 minutes and a short distance to ferry terminals to explore nearby Vashon or Bainbridge Islands. Seacrest Dock is just 5-mins away if you prefer to take a 10-min water taxi ride to Downtown Seattle Waterfront. An interior hallway beyond that shared entrance leads to the front entry door of this apartment. Guests will be given a personalized door code for the duration of their stay. The kitchen has a full size updated range/oven, full size refrigerator, coffee station, microwave and a toaster. All the basic kitchen equipment for preparing and cooking meals is included. The bathroom has a bathtub/shower combo, a vanity and storage cabinets. The West Seattle Water Taxi is the best way to get to and from downtown Seattle. Just 5 minutes drive to the Seacrest Dock off the east end of Alki Beach will take you to the Downtown Seattle Waterfront in 15 minutes. There is street side parking if you prefer to drive yourself. Downtown is about 20 minutes away, and Uber/Lyft are widely available.
