About this apartment rental
Located on the 3rd floor in Phase II of Sea Glass, this condo is in the popular West Beach area of downtown Gulf Shores and sits directly across from Pier 33 convenience store. Sea Glass is walking distance to Gulf Place which hosts annual events including The National Shrimp Festival and Hangout Music Fest. The main public beach is located here along with other businesses like the Pink Pony Pub, The Hangout restaurant, Surf Style, and Souvenir City. This area of Gulf Shores is where it all happens, from fireworks to festivals, and Sea Glass is steps from it all!

The Condo was beautiful and the building itself very well maintained. I was disappointed at the parking situation, however. I am aware this is a beach front location - but the property managers should be aware that whomever is renting will have at least one vehicle and have a spot available for the price of the rental. I was notified the day of check in that there would be one parking pass available and auto charged to me for an additional 50. My second vehicle had to be parked 2 blocks offsite. They also could've provided a few more basic necessities (i.e. Salt & Pepper), but overall it was comfortable for my family and very convenient to the beach.

From pre-arrival check in to check out, the communication and expectations of the stay were simple. The stay was truly a vacation dream home away from home.

We loved this location! Nice pool, private access to the beach. The condo was nice, but when we first arrived, the fold out couch had not been cleaned (dirty flat sheet and mattress cover). The only extra sheets were twin size, so we had to wash everything and remake the bed before our daughter could go to sleep. The master bedroom flat sheet was also too small for the bed (maybe full size), so we messaged the property manager about the cleanliness issue and getting some properly fitting sheets. The manager was apologetic and had the cleaning crew bring two more sheet sets, but they were still too small. We made it work though.
The condo also had a mildew smell upon arrival and throughout our stay. We are pretty sure it mainly originated from the washing machine and did not go away no matter how many loads we washed. You might consider bringing some portable air fresheners and/or room spray if you are sensitive to smells.
Things I wished I knew before: bring extra toilet paper! The coffee maker uses kcups and grounds - but bring your own coffee filters if you use grounds. Bring air freshener of some sort. Bring laundry detergent to wash towels… there were only 6 full size bath towels.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay!
