About this cabin rental
The Anchor Point is perfect for the whole family wanting to get away and relax in the heart of nature. This private, easy-to-access cabin offers all the modern amenities you are looking for in the heart of Muir Valley Nature Preserve and Climbing Area. Relax in the hot tub, enjoy game of ping pong or spend the evening on the screened in porch taking in nature.
This property offers two living areas with smart TVs. Make lasting memories!
Non-smoking, pet-free.
Kitchen: Dishwasher, Stove, Microwave, Regular coffee maker/filters, toaster and other necessities to make cooking breeze.
Living: Sectional seating, high-speed Wi-Fi, smart TV, modern fireplace (use all seasons w/o heat)
3 Bedrooms : 1 King Bed, 2 queen beds.
2 Bathrooms: Each bathroom is equipped with beautiful tile showers and single vanities.
Outdoor: Spacious deck (with screened in porch area), hot tub, Charcoal grill with grilling utensils, firepit with lots of seating and stylish landscaping. Please purchase firewood locally.
- Fresh linens, blankets, and towels. Essentials: toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, sponge, unscented dish soap, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
- Pack-and-Play and high chair available upon request
- Located in the very spacious basement you will find a ping pong table and a chess game located on a very beautiful barrel with bar stools to set and enjoy a game of chess.
- Easy access, The property is accessed by a well-maintained gravel road. Trailers prohibited. Plenty of parking space.
- Tranquil location right in the world famous Muir Valley Climbing area! Also near Red River Gorge! Rock climbing, horseback riding, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, zip lines, fishing, restaurants, sight-seeing, and more nearby.
- Discover many trails for all hiking enthusiasts! (Please note: hike at your own risk on unmarked trails.)

Everything was as expected. Nice furniture, comfortable beds, kitchen stocked well. Quality building materials. Good selection of games/activities. Might want to bring your own beach towels for the hot tub, towels are provided but small. Great location and enjoyed the trip.

I appreciated how clean this cabin was! The communication with the owner was fast and we had no issues. If I had any notes for room for improvement, I would add a lamp or two in the kitchen and living area (overhead lights are bright!), and a couple of new skillets (the current ones have wobbly handles and are no longer nonstick). All in all, a fabulous stay.
