The yurt is a lovely space and very conveniently located. The kitchen is great and the on-site laundry is a plus. The decor and furniture is also lovely. Since it's right by the highway, the location is fairly noisy, and we did find that the yurt got very warm and stuffy during the day partly due to the lack of shade on the property (we ended up opening the windows and door while we were there rather than using the AC unit). An investment in a shade sail or a big umbrella for the deck would be an improvement. I would also note that the shower is on the smaller side and taller people may find it a challenge to use; my daughter and I did fine but my husband had a difficult time fully washing because it was too cramped.

We have always wanted to see what it was like to stay in a yurt, and particularly this one. The location is excellent as it’s only about 7-8 minutes to town and that puts you closer if you want to go to southern sections of the Sunshine Coast Trail.The place was very clean - which is really nice. The view is great and it’s right across from the beach and Myrtle Rocks. It had all the amenities and was quaint. One funny thing is that we stayed 4 nights and it took me until the last night to figure out the bed was not fixed to the wall or floor and was able to move it over a foot so we could get around it LOL. It was really nice there was a washer and dryer as we used it a few times and are travelling home with all clean laundry:) That’s a bonus. The road noise was manageable and the earplugs were a nice touch. The cabin being built next door on the same property looks really nice and we hope we can stay there as well when it’s completed. Thanks……

Very unique stay! Hosts checked in to made sure we had everything and allowed us to store our bikes in the laundry shed.

Great stay! Loved how Cozy and clean the place was. We enjoyed the location. The only downside was the road noise.
