Great location, well equipped apartment with a beautiful view.
Several doors are banging loudly when it’s windy, neighbours were creative and had a piece of fabric squeezed into their entry door frame.
I asked for a second key as we were 4 people and made clear upfront confirming the booking that would be a condition for the apartment being suitable for us.
The communication prior was good and it was confirmed we’ll get two but the lockbox had one key.
I straight reported the issue and was told the second will be organised ASAP but we never got it or heard back regarding.
When following up, I was told it would be investigated but it’s been a week.
Offering some sort of financial compensation for the big inconvenience would be appropriate.

The AC in the main bedroom was not working - but we did get a late check out as compensation

Location amazing. Views incredible. Fabulous pools and gym. Luxurious accomodation and very stylish.
Air con in one bedroom not working ( we were informed of this prior to arrival). No teaspoons and only 1 fork but otherwise very well equipped.

The apartment was well located and comfortable. There were two bathrooms and laundry facilities as well as a very reasonable kitchen area.
Having booked and paid in advance for the accomodation through bookings.com I subsequently received a text from the apartment manager asking for bank account and personal details to arrange some sort of security bond. It looked like a scam text so I responded and asked for any communications to be sent via the bookings.com app. Most of the subsequent communications from the apartment manager were deleted by bookings.com. I have never come across this sort of thing before and found the process quite onerous and futile.
The apartment is in a huge high rise complex with a management company that overseas rentals for a substantial fee to owners. This owner clearly has chosen to try and improve the finacial viability of the property by not using the usual management. To an extent I understand this, but it is important to know what the downstream effects are to tenants.
1. Key collection from a random shop 400 metres away.
2. No onsite parking
3. Only one key fob provided for a 66th floor apartment requiring key fob for any lift access - so constantly having to send someone down to allow other members of the party to return to apartment - terrific when your 20 year old gets back at 1:00 am
4. No option to hold bags at reception (problematic with a 10:00 am checkout)
5. Our request for a late checkout (the road outside the complex was 100% blocked during the GC marathon until 11:45 am) was met with a prefab negative response.
6. When dropping key fob off I was asked to photo the fob going into the keylock at a random location - seriously?
