The entrance and property is super charming. The staff are amazing and greet you with a welcome tea. We don’t use many facilities as we were only there one night.
I think the room we stayed in (the junior suite with pool) is marketed a bit incorrectly. The room itself is actually really cute and cosy however i would say it’s more of a glamping experience vs 5 star hotel. The bed is super comfy and the bedding is lush. The bathroom is well stocked with soap, shampoo etc. the walls are paper, you can hear everyone and everything around you. The shower is built in a way that it floods since it’s such a level surface. There’s a bit of wear and tear which is fine but it just doesn’t match the way it’s marketed. Unfortunately it was raining and the pool is freezing so we couldn’t enjoy it. I appreciate the chairs and outdoor set up tho, it would be fab if it was dry. I would give the experience a 9 if it was about 40% cheaper but unfortunately it just didn’t deliver for what we paid.

A fantastic stay with a rainforest feeling, while still being conveniently close to Ella town and the local tea factory. The staff was service-minded, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay.The food was great, and sitting outside under the roof for dinner surrounded by nature was a nice highlight.
They even packed us breakfast package, sandwiches, fresh fruit, water since we were heading out early to hike Little Adam’s Peak before normal breakfast hours.
A quick note on access: The final stretch of road leading up to the hotel is very narrow and can be a bit tricky for larger vehicles like vans, especially in the rain. However, this seems to be common for many hotels in the area.
The rooms are not fully soundproof, so you may hear some sounds.

The walls were very thin. You could practically have a conversation with the people in the next room.
