The secondary swimming area gets sun later on in the afternoon. Waterfront The waterfront has a sandy, silty bottom, with water approximately 4 feet deep off the dock. It’s generally clear of weeds and good for swimming. L-shaped dock is 35 feet long with 4 feet of water parallel to shore, and another 30 feet with depth ranging from 4 feet deep to 0 deep at shoreline. Please note outside of summer weeks, the included watercraft is kept in the storage room located under the deck. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 15 min to complete. This trail is great for birding, cross-country skiing, and hiking, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. (3 mins) Hardy Lake Provincial Park You will find the Hardy Lake trails in Hardy Lake Provincial Park just off of Hwy 169 east of Torrance. There are no facilities at this Park, but there is a parking lot and hiking trails. This is a non-operating park, and as such biking, motorized vehicles and camping are not permitted.
