For those seeking a relaxing holiday away from the stresses of everyday life in a villa that offers peace and quiet, comfort and plenty of space for children to play or simply to unwind, Villa Casa Carbonera is the perfect choice. This lovingly restored stone house is set on a 1,300 m² plot, sleeps 4 + 2 guests and features two bedrooms, a bathroom, a private swimming pool, an outdoor hot tub and plenty of space for fun and leisure.
The interior has been furnished with great care and attention to detail and is spread over two floors. The two cosy bedrooms, each with a double bed and a TV, are on the upper floor, whilst there is space for two additional guests on the sofa bed on the ground floor. The kitchen is fully equipped and the living room features satellite TV and a stereo system. This villa will satisfy both those who wish to relax on the sun loungers by the pool or in the hot tub on cool evenings, and those who enjoy cycling to explore the surrounding area or challenging each other to a game of table football or darts. If you decide to spend a day at the beach, a beautiful cove awaits you just 6 km from the villa. The nearest small restaurant is 500 m from the villa, and a wider selection can be found from 6 km away. If you’d prefer to eat at home, the lovely covered terrace features a barbecue, charcoal and a dining area overlooking the beautiful, spacious garden with a pool. Casa Carbonera is situated near Marcana. Marcana is a small village and municipality of the same name in the southern part of Istria, about 15 km north of Pula, Istria’s largest city. The villa is situated in a rural location, yet the beaches and resorts along this coastline are just a few kilometres away. The nearest beach is Duga Uvala (approx. 6 km). The popular holiday resort of Medulin and the beautiful sights and cultural events of Pula are also nearby and are ideal for those seeking entertainment, dining and shopping opportunities.
The villa’s location offers a perfect balance of tranquillity and private enjoyment, away from the hustle and bustle of the city and tourist crowds, whilst still being within easy reach of all the key destinations in Istria. One of the most beautiful national parks in this part of Europe – the Brijuni Islands – is also situated in this region. The islands can be reached by boat from Fazana, just about 20 km from the villa. A car is recommended.
