We had a wonderful time in Komodo village! We recommend to stay in this village because it is central and comfortable with easy access to all the Komodo highlights.
We felt really welcome and well looked after in the Dua Putri. Our host was very nice and extremely helpful, his wife is a great cook who prepared delicious meals for us and even made special vegan dishes for me.
Our host‘s brother Ari was our guide for our four-day stay, and we were so happy about it, because he is such a nice guy and the best guide ever! In a private boat for the six of us, he took us to wonderful places and showed us all the great sights Komodo is famous for. We swam with manta rays and turtles and saw several Komodo dragons.

The host was very helpful and friendly and his wife is a very good cook so we had amazing home cooked meals for dinner. The place is located in the edge of Komodo Village with open spaces at the back (we even spotted a baby dragon when we arrived) and amazing ocean view in the front terrace. We were given three single rooms even though we booked double rooms since we were the only guests. Our host also helped to book a 3-Day Private Boat tour, not the cheapest but it was best option to manage our time and appetite for each activity.
The rooms could a bit stuffy as no fresh air can enter once the door/verandah is closed. Bright due to glass walls but no window that can be opened to let air in.

È una homestay a gestione familiare nel villaggio di Komodo in pieno parco nazionale. Non si viene qui per il lusso ma per un’esperienza autentica: il proprietario è gentilissimo, ci ha contattato su WhatsApp nei giorni prima e ci ha aiutato a organizzare al meglio i nostri tre giorni e due notti considerando che eravamo due famiglie con bambini, per ottimizzare le escursioni. Ha riorganizzato al meglio le tempistiche, considerando le variabili metereologiche e i permessi del parco. Equipaggio alla barca è stato gentilissimo e amichevole, ci ha accontentato anche per tutte richieste extra, compresa la pesca a traino. Vivamente consigliato.
Come dicevo, la struttura è semplice ma pulita, i bagni sono in comune le stanze piccole, ma si viene qui, appunto per un’esperienza diversa dagli alberghi

L'emplacement du logement est au cœur du village ce qui est très agréable et une très bonne expérience.
J'ai beaucoup aimé aussi vivre dans une famille à Komodo
Les repas préparé étaient excellent et très copieux.
Je m'attendais à un logement très simple bien sûr et pas à du grand confort.
Mais des chambres de 4m2 avec de fines cloisons en bois d'un peu plus de 2 m de haut fermée par un simple rideau c'est un peu juste.
Un seul petit plaid pour 2 est un peu juste mais à ma demande j'ai pu en avoir un autre.
Un WC / douche pour huit personnes est également un peu juste.
Les rats dans la chambre la nuit : bof....
Le plus gros reproche finalement est le prix par rapport à la qualité du logement : beaucoup trop chèr
