Location was perfect right near the beach with a little shop built in on the front. Walking distance to all restaurants on the main strip. The hosts are the most amazing people who even cooked and shared a traditional lunch with us and later came to join us for dinner.
The Air con in our room became a bit warm on our last 2 days and the bathroom flooded a little bit after a shower.

The location was wonderful and super central. The staff was so nice and helpful with scheduling activities. Big and spacious rooms.

Eine sehr familiäres Hostel in dem man sich gut aufgehoben fühlt, bei jeglichen Anliegen wurde mit Selbstverständlichkeit geholfen! Der Besitzer organisiert immer wieder gemeinsame Abendessen bei denen man zusammen sitzen und quatschten kann. Das Hostel ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Einfach zum wohlfühlen!

This was probably my best stay in Sri Lanka. Jazz is an amazing host that will help you out with anything and the place is just perfect. All the facilities you need, very new rooms (bathroom is perfect), location is great. Absolutely recommend staying at Tropicana! Rooms even have a small desk and the wifi is great so even some remote work is possible if that’s what you’re looking for.
