The location was absolutely perfect, the beds were comfortable, everything was clean, the check-in instructions were very clear and helpful, and the kitchen was wonderfully stocked.
The cleaning staff arrived every morning at about nine and stayed until about three in the afternoon, and they very much treat the guests as interlopers. I was sitting in the shared sitting room doing some work and when the cleaning staff took their lunch break, I got enough dirty looks to make me consider moving to my room.

Nach der Buchung über Booking.com wurde eine Guideline per Mail versandt. Hier mussten Informationen inkl. Fotos hochgeladen werden, dies glich einer Sicherheitsabfrage für ein winziges Kabuff mit Minifenster, keine Zimmerausstattung, gemeinsames Bad für mehrere Zimmer. Ein Code für die Frontdoor, ein Code für den Schlüsselkasten am Zimmer. Eine Übernachtung in beklemmender Enge mit unmöglicher Bürokratie und digitalem Unsinn für 108 Euro (ohne Frühstück) ist eine Zumutung. Diese Absteige ist nicht zu empfehlen.
Es wäre sinnvoll gewesen, mit der Bezahlungsbestätigung gleich einen Code zu senden, so dass wir bei Ankunft sofortigen Zugang zum Haus gehabt hätten. Eine Anbringung für Kleideraufhängung, ein vielleicht ausklappbarer Tisch und ein schönes Bild an der Wand wären schon eine kleine Verbesserung. Der Preis muss absolut geringer werden. Inverness ist keine "Weltmetropole".
