The house fit our family of 10 very well (6 adults and 4 children). The use of canoes and kayaks was definitely a plus. It is located near town, best to drive though especially with young children. Most activities are within 15-30 minutes away. Lots of room in the house and all 10 could have dinner together. The owner was very quick to answer any questions we had. Be sure to check out the houses history on the second floor. We enjoyed our stay at The Weaver House!

Our family had a wonderful time. We had 3 generations faith a toddler, older children, and adults children in their 20’s. Everyone had a blast. We loved swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking in the river. The gentle current and shallow water meant that even the toddler Could enjoy the water. Perfect vacation home for a large family gathering.

This lovely house was a wonderful place for our extended family (four households represented) to stay for a week. With a wide range of ages from grandparents to a 1 year old, there were plenty of activities for everyone including swimming, kayaking, and fishing. The busy road out front and the river out back made us extra cautious about where the little kids were at all hours of the day, but we knew that going into the week and it worked out fine. The house was clean with great amenities. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen with soap, trash bags, and paper towels provided. Checking in and checking out were both a breeze, and the property manager was wonderful in communicating and helping us as needed. The deck is spacious for enjoying the Crystal River with plenty of outdoor seating. We loved having the kayaks at our disposal, and the kids LOVED having the kid sized kayaks. One or two adult kayaks and a few paddles were in need of repair, but we still had plenty to enjoy. One unique characteristic of the house is that you have to walk through either the master bedroom or the downstairs bunk room to access the other side of the house. This didn't create any major issues for us, but it would have been helpful to know for planning, so I'll mention it for anyone else who reads reviews like we do. Thank you for a great stay! We would love to come back if it works out sometime!

We had a great time staying at this property with my brother and his family. There was more than enough space for all of us. The location close to town is very convenient and we were able to visit with our other brother who live on Little Glen. Thanks so much for such a lovely stay!

... from a wall of windows inside the house. Our group of 13 could comfortably separate throughout the house or gather for meals in the roomy kitchen-dining area. The bunk room was perfect for our 6 teen boys, and all had comfortable beds. The home was well equipped with all that we needed. It was a nice location for the outdoor things we wanted to do; i.e., skiing Crystal Mountain, sledding on Sleeping Bear Dunes; even kayaked!
