We both really enjoyed staying here, great location and secluded. Our only downside was the cream carpet right outside the main door, being a stay with a dog was quite fiddly.

In such a beautiful location this cottage is just perfect for a get away, you can join the rest of the world in bowness, lakeside etc or take the less trodden tracks and escape !!
The house itself is very well equipped , the new shower is amazing, would love black out curtains for the front bedroom as the dawn chorus is loud and bright but maybe we shouldn’t waste the time while here!
We’ll be back (again) next year x

We stayed here as it was walking distance to The Lap race and also amazing location by the lake. Such a great location to properly get away from it all and chill. Loved it

There was no provision for the replacement/change of bedding and towels.
Not sure who was responsible for this but a 12 night stay in the same bedding and use of the same towels is not acceptable.
I would recommend the property but with a warning to establish arrangements for above.
