Beach Grove is situated in heart of Cayton Bay with only a 5 minute walk to the beach and the park itself boasting views of the beautiful East Yorkshire Coastline. Cayton Bay is situated between Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington - making them easily accessible with all 3 only a very short distance away. This provides an ideal location to have some great days out in some of the regions most sought after seaside resorts, to then be able to return in the evening to the quieter town of Cayton Bay.
Beach Grove is the epitome of a modern and chic holiday getaway by the coast; it has 3 bedrooms - a master double bed, 2 twin bedrooms, and also a double pull out sofabed in the living room - sleeping up to 8 people. Beach Grove is only a few years old and has been carefully designed to meet our guests high standards and to keep up with modern trends. Elegant soft furnishings have been added to give the lodge an extra touch of comfort. Beach Grove is complete with a spacious living area incorporating an open plan kitchen/ diner, bathroom facilities, gas, water, electric, Wifi, Smart TV, private decking with outdoor seating and on-site parking close by. It is in a very quiet area of the park, tucked away with a beautiful woodland view to the rear.

Beach Grove was clean, tidy and positioned in a nice quiet area of the park. Parking was easy within a 2 min walk of the caravan (if you park in the shared Ivy/Heron section of the parking areas.
Parkdean wifi is good, you can choose their free wifi if needed, when the caravan wifi isn't cooperating. The onsite shop is small but good, quite busy too.
Water pressure is good, plenty of towels, cutlery okay but no scissors. Beds were good, mattress on the double bed could be better.

Beach Grove was a comfortable caravan, mostly clean with the exception of a very crusty empty sugar canister and mould along the skirting board in the double bedroom (which we didn't notice at first) the blackout liners on the windows in the double bedroom are also falling off.Check in was nice and easy via lockbox, all communication was excellent. As for equipment there were no scissors, so we bought a cheap pair of our own from the shop. One can opener was horribly rusty but there is a second newer one. Wifi is on and off all the time, so we used the parkdean free wifi, which was more reliable. Only had to use the heating once for a short duration. The parking is within easy reach of the caravan, a nice quiet spot on the park. The onsite shop is busy but staff are quite welcoming. If you're up early in the morning there are wild rabbits that come just outside the caravan that you can watch.The only other pain was the flies, just leaving the door open for heat let in lots of flies. Perhaps a magnetic door curtain would be a good idea for when the door is open.All in all a good few days in a scenic area with plenty to do, with Beach Grove being a good base.

We had a great stay at Cayton Bay in this caravan with our 4 grandkids. The caravan is located at the back of the park so nice and quiet out of the way. We didnt leave site all week as so much to incl. The beach. Will be back. dobeach
