L'appartamento è in un palazzo di fronte alla redazione di un "giornale" in un quartiere davvero autentico. E' una zona un pò periferica, però se piace, si vive la città "vera". Molte attività di vicinato, non sono presenti grandi centri commerciali, sono presenti supermercati grandi e piccoli, molti bar, locali serali, ristoranti, negozi di ogni genere e un saco di librerie.
Dista circa 15 minuti a piedi da Piazza Omonia, ma nella via passano diversi autobus.
Mi sarebbe piaciuto incontrare gli host.

The apartment was spacious and clean. The location is very nice, especially if someone likes the "alternative" vibe of Exarchia neighboorhood, which is full of very good restaurants, bars, bookshops etc.
- The apartment looks out onto a tiny, dark backyard and doesn't get much sunlight. However, since I was out for work all day, this didn't bother me too much.
- There was no Nespresso or espresso machine, which I consider essential for this type of accommodation. It has been years since I stayed in a rental that didn't provide a way to make a simple cup of espresso.
- The worst part by far was the host's extremely poor communication. As a frequent business traveler, I have never experienced anything like this. It took two text messages and a phone call just to get check-in instructions. Furthermore, my request for a late check-in went completely unanswered. I also sent two direct messages and one via Booking.com requesting an invoice for my work expenses, but the host completely ignored me. It makes me worry about what would happen if there were a serious emergency requiring immediate assistance.
Conclusion: I will definitely not return to this apartment—or any other property managed by this host—on future trips to Athens.
