This newly renovated Casita is perfect for couples retreat or small family looking for a peaceful respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Enjoy the outdoor spaces, relax in the hot tub, gather by the firepit or pond. Enjoy an open living space with a fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, and a relaxing primary bedroom with a king size bed and sauna. This place is a hidden gem in Blue Ridge. You will be pleasantly surprised by the privacy and peace that surrounds this space. What makes our vacation home truly special is the backyard views to the ridge. Sometimes when you look out the kitchen window early in the morning (7-9) you'll see one or more whitetail deer crossing or playing on the ridge. Guests can take in all the outdoors has to offer in one of many outdoor spaces at our Casita. Enjoy gathering around the firepit accompanied by a gazebo, sit by the tranquil pond, soak in the hot tub, or enjoy an evening gazing at the stars above. If you are an early person, watch the sunrise while enjoying a cup of coffee or tea from the coffee bar as you sit in the peaceful screened front porch. The owners prepared Casita for couples retreat and small family (up to 4) getaway. They take great pride in providing a comfortable, peaceful, and relaxed stay for all guests. The master suite has a comfortable king size bed, new two-person sauna installed in 2023, a laptop workspace with fast (500Mbps) Internet Wi-Fi and ethernet connections. Enjoy a private full bathroom with each bedroom. Blackout curtains are provided in the master suite perfect for sleeping in. The second bedroom has a full size bed and a private full bathroom. Smart Roku-enabled with Wi-Fi throughout the house and outdoor areas. Please refrain from arriving earlier than 4:00 PM, as our team requires sufficient time to thoroughly clean the Casita. We will maintain consistent communication with you following your reservation. Guest enter the house through the front porch door that leads to the front door. Check-out time is promptly at 10:00 AM. PLEASE DO NOT FEED ANY ANIMALS. This is for your safety and the safety of future guests. We provide white trash bags in the laundry room to throw garbage in. It's important that you put the garbage bags in the bear-proof trash can provided outside. We pay a monthly pest service to treat the space but naturally, you may come across some critters. We have done everything that we can to reduce the likelihood of this happening, but please don’t be surprised if you run into some. The sauna in the master suite is for adults use only. Please read the health caution notice posted next to the sauna. Please read the health caution notice posted next to the hot tub outside. The TV in the living room is a 50" Roku Smart TV. You can sign into any service you’d like, but there aren’t any services provided. Casita is 960 sq ft and is located at the top of a steep gravel driveway. We recommend that you put your vehicle in D1 or M1 as you go up the ridge. There is plenty of parking space once you reach top of the ridge. The driveway is shared between the Casita and a tiny house about 200+ feet away down the road on the left. We advise against walking up to the ridge. If you choose to do so, please be aware that it is entirely at your own risk. Hazards such as stumps, loose branches, and wildlife exists in our property. We cannot assume responsibility for any injuries incurred. All guests must be at least 25 years old to book a stay with the exception of children accompanied by parents.
