The property is located in the peaceful village of Jwarna, around 20-25 minutes from Kanatal. The five cottages offer breathtaking mountain views and a calm atmosphere, making it perfect for families and friends looking to unwind. The chef was excellent, and the food was delicious. The nearby Surkanda Devi Temple is a must-visit.
The property is advertised as being in Kanatal, but it is actually in Jwarna. It felt overpriced for the off-season considering the facilities. Water supply was inconsistent, Wi-Fi was unreliable (which is a major issue as mobile networks barely work), and we had to repeatedly remind the staff for food orders and room cleaning. The toilet seat and shower in our cottage were also broken. Food is good but slightly expensive, and there are very limited dining or shopping options nearby if you’re not travelling with your own vehicle.

We had the most amazing stay at nivitri. From the hustle bustle of the city we ended up amidst the salubrious hills of kanatal with lovely weather. The rooms were comfortable and kids friendly. The staff was very hospitable and looked after us very well with special mention to Mrs Mulayan and Mr Bhagsingh. They organised little bonfire for us in the evening. Location is a ten on ten. Must visit. Would like to recommend better way to take elderlies up the hill as it's little steep climb but overall I had a great experience😊
