First of all I have to say this property has parking which is an incredible bonus in Whitby and our main reason for booking this property. I remember this property when it was the wood turners workshop and it was a nice touch that some of their creation had been used to dress the property. It is in a very good location in the town with places to eat and drink in a very short walking distance. The ground floor consists of a small dining area and a well equipped kitchenette. The first floor has a small lounge and a full bathroom and the second floor has a double bedroom and a full bathroom. It is perfect as a base to explore the area and we would definitely stay here again.
There were a few areas that had not been cleaned well, eg there had been a spillage down the lounge wall and the radiator that was still there when we arrived. Anyone thinking of booking this property needs to be aware that the stairs are very steep and narrow. When we first booked I thought that 2 full bathrooms in such a small property was excessive but having stopped here there are so needed so you do not have to negotiate the stair cases when relaxing in the lounge and during the night. Also be aware that due to the compact size of the bedroom the double bed is a small double bed rather than the standard size.

"The property was absolutely amazing. I have been coming to Whitby for about 30 years and I have to say it has to be the top of my list. I will certainly be coming back. A property to be proud of. Want..."
