I honestly cannot say enough good things about my stay at Anantara Mina Ras Al Khaimah Resort. I came for a birthday staycation with a friend and from the moment we arrived, the entire experience was absolutely amazing. It was my first time visiting Ras Al Khaimah and I genuinely couldn’t have chosen a better place. Every single member of staff we encountered was friendly, attentive, professional and genuinely willing to help. You could really feel that the team cared about making sure guests had a wonderful experience. A special thank you to Michel, who checked us in. He was so warm, kind and welcoming and immediately made us feel comfortable and looked after. He even helped me with some birthday content and was so patient and lovely while I took photos and videos. It was such a small thing but it really added to my birthday experience and I appreciated it so much. Another huge thank you to Janaka from the concierge team. He was absolutely wonderful! He gave us such a detailed tour of the resort, was always happy to pick us up on the buggy and whenever we wanted to visit a particular spot for photos or simply needed to get somewhere, he was always so helpful. He gave us lots of useful information and advice throughout our stay and made it clear that if we needed anything, we could reach out to him or any of his colleagues and someone would always be there to assist us. He was genuinely so friendly and attentive. We also had a birthday meal at one of the resort’s restaurants, and once again, the experience was fantastic. The restaurant itself is beautiful — the interior, atmosphere and ambience were all stunning. We were looked after by Nandan, who was equally wonderful. I wasn’t completely happy with my drink, and without hesitation he went out of his way to resolve it for me and even had it removed from the bill. The restaurant team also surprised me by bringing out a birthday dessert and singing Happy Birthday.

I really enjoyed my stay at Anantara Ras Al Khaimah. The breakfast buffet was very good, with a nice variety of options. The room was comfortable, and I especially liked the open garden area, which gave the room a relaxing atmosphere. The kids’ zone was also very good and enjoyable for children. The staff were friendly, helpful, and provided good service throughout our stay. Overall, it was a pleasant and relaxing experience for the family.

The check-in process was very slow, and the dinner did not meet my expectations. The distance from the room to the restaurant was also quite far. Unfortunately, the buggy/club car service was often unavailable because they were busy, so we had to walk to the restaurant in the hot weather. This was the main issue I did not like, as it affected my mood and overall experience. Based on my stay, I personally would not recommend the half-board option.
