El sitio es espectacular! Un hotelito de poquitas habitaciones individuales en el que te sientes en pleno paraíso! El personal es genial, Ashley y Rudy se portaron de 10! La comida de verdad sin palabras, tienen actividades típicas del país, y tienes varias rutas para hacer.

The staff were incredibly friendly. When our son was unwell, they made him chicken broth and brought him coconut water. The food was fantastic! The best food we ate in Costa Rica. The setting of the lodge is perfect - we were surrounded by wildlife everyday. The scarlet macaws were a special daily treat, as well as the howler monkeys, hummingbirds and iguanas.

Our stay at Natural Drake Bay Hotel Boutique was truly magical. With only eight little bungalows, the hotel feels incredibly intimate and exclusive. From the moment you arrive, you almost feel like you’re having a private VIP experience.
The hotel is surrounded by nature, which makes the setting even more special. We saw lots of iguanas around the property and were lucky enough to see and hear howler monkeys several times. You really feel immersed in Costa Rica.
What makes this place even more memorable is the staff. Everyone is incredibly kind and attentive, they know your name and genuinely make you feel cared for throughout your stay.
And the food… honestly, it could be served in a five-star restaurant. It was THAT good! Every day you can choose between different options for lunch and dinner, and the breakfasts were incredible, with several choices each morning. A huge thank you to the chefs, Freddy and Gayson — the quality of the food was really impressive.
We were also so lucky to have Rudy and Brendan taking care of us at the bar and restaurant. Always smiling, giving us great recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed.
Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special. We would recommend this place without hesitation to anyone visiting Drake Bay, and we would absolutely love to come back one day!

Hotel is amazing. Views, pool, food, staff. However avoid lake view rooms unless you are a family / friends. There are two adjourning rooms with zero sound insulation. You can see hear everything from the other room. The sea view rooms are individual cabins so totally private - so book these rooms instead (especially as the same price).
Lake view rooms offer no privacy. Book sea view rooms only!
