We had the attic apartment and really loved the layout, facilities, and amazing views. The bed is big and comfortable and really enjoyed the relaxing calm. We never used the kitchen, but it was adequately equipped and ideal for a longer stay. The location was everything as you are right on the rows, the historical centre of Chester, with everything you need. Whilst you don't see your host, communication was excellent and will definitely consider next time we are visiting family.

Stunning building and apartment
The blinds in the bedroom didn’t work, and you have to manually turn each one. We reached out to the owners twice but were ignored. Even when you turned each plank individually, they still let a lot of light in. The lack of blackout curtains/blinds seemed very odd for suck a lovely, otherwise well thought out apartment. I wouldn’t book if you need dark to sleep.
The water also wasn’t hot, so didn’t get to enjoy a hot shower on the morning of our wedding. Again, this place wasn’t cheap so you expect better than a luke warm shower.
