The staff were so friendly, the food was excellent especially as we were vegetarian. We felt that we were having a really authentic experience at the property. So peaceful and natural.

My room was at the end of a row and wonderfully quiet. The rooms themselves are not particularly soundproof, but everyone goes to bed fairly early as the first activity starts at 6:30 in the morning. I really enjoyed the activities, especially the river cruises. The included food was excellent throughout my stay. Compliments to the cook!
This may partly have been down to my expectations, but seeing wildlife in the wild is much more difficult than I had anticipated. There are also additional charges for some activities, such as the elephant search. At MYR 450 per person, I thought this was very expensive for essentially two extra hours, especially as wildlife sightings can obviously never be guaranteed. Fortunately, we did manage to see the elephants.
There are many different companies in the area offering similar packages. I booked quite late and was simply happy to find an available room, so I did not compare prices beforehand. Especially for families, where an optional activity like this can become very expensive, it may be worth comparing the different packages before booking.

Amazing tours, friendly staff and fantastic food. They cater to special diet restrictions really well.
A little overpriced and you had to pay a lot more to go and see elephants.
