Good restaurants. Loved the Ceylon Bake House on the ground floor, great coffee and afternoon delight sweet treats. Breakfast good variety. Roof top bars also great. Fabulous ocean view. Very welcoming staff

We booked a last minute room here as we ended up getting stranded in Colombo for 2 unexpected nights due to the cyclone which hit central Sri Lanka on 28 November as the boutique hotel which we started at when we arrived in Colombo was unfortunately full on the days that we wanted to extend our stay, so we thought that the Sheraton was the best option as we wanted a luxury hotel. The check in staff were good (in fact they ended up upgrading us to a junior suite which was very nice) but the Guest Services staff were not great - every time I called for something, it either didn't arrive or it took hours. The Guest Services team desparately needs some training on customer service. The buffet breakfast was OK but felt like a typical hotel chain kind of breakfast - quality of some items were average. The bedroom itself was very nice and the bedding was good, however the duvet cover was polyester (!) despite the sheets and pillowcases being cotton, so we just slept under a sheet as it was impossible to sleep under a polyester duvet cover - this was very disappointing for a 5 star hotel.
