We have stayed at Rum Runner several times in the past. We like the location relative to the beach and it's not too far from the center of Port A. The new sail shades over the pool are a nice addition.
Maintenance and cleanliness were lacking, compared to past stays. The pool was filthy with dirt and leaf litter. The pool was cleaned after about 24 hours but the filter just spit the dirt right back into the water. The pool waterfall still doesn't work and the back cover was off, which could be a hazard for small children. The dining table and downstairs bath were a bit grungy. Endless come-ons for added services got annoying.

We loved the pool and all the space for our family.
One of the beds downstairs had an eyelash in the bed. So not sure if those sheets were changed. Also there were a few cockroaches in the room downstairs and in the kitchen.
