The staff were very helpful and sweet. The room was cozy.
There were no entertainment options available for the television such as prime, Netflix, or YouTube. These are minor necessities when you are vacationing. However, a night in with a good movie when you don’t have a laptop is ideal. Other than that I really enjoyed my stay.

Good location. Was very quiet and internet was very good and reliable.
Front staff had only elementary Engligh. Room cleaning staff did not speak English. The locks on the sliding glass door for entry needed to be stronger. There was very little breakfast offered. There were breakfast options offered in an adjoining cafe. With all payments being digital, there was no way for me to pay considering that payment could only be made via a local bank app, which did not work on my phone. They would not accept credit cards at the cafe nor would the site add the breakfast to my room tab.

R1 is a very nice and cozy place with great amenities. And most importantly the staff and owner are incredibly friendly treating you like family !! Big recommendation. And lastly, the cafe is also very convenient with great lunch at good prices :)

I absolutely loved this resort. The staff are soo lovely and friendly and helpful. The reception staff and the housekeepers are truly amazing. Lovely to see friendly faces everyday.
During my stay, I ordered breakfast everyday which was included which was amazing and it was great food, they have a great chef who is also lovely.
I loved my room, it was a lovely layout, all the essentials I needed such as a kettle and hair dryer plus fresh towels everyday and fresh water and toilet paper in my room.
These touches really made the stay feel luxury. There are snacks in the breakfast room along with water or tea bags available for guests.
Once housekeeping had been in my room, it smelt fresh and clean and I really recommend this place if you want a friendly , homely environment.
Pool is great and very well kept. The whole place is just so cute and when I visit Chiang mai again, I definitely will be staying here.
Overall, I felt very safe, comfortable and relaxed and I will be returning 🫶🏻
