Aurea Hotel Perth Kings Park

The staff are nice and friendly. The breakfast from menu and second day buffet was amazing. Highly recommend. Very clean and comfy beds.

Our room was a bit scuffed up on door and the light on back wall kept flickering on off, so had to use a stronger light.

It is well located and the staff were lovely and made great coffee. Food in the restaurant was very good and the room and hotel in general was very clean and neat. Good parking.

Our only disappointment was the bed - we only stayed one night as neither my husband or I could sleep on the bed.

I loved the bed the pillows and the duvet . Even asked them if they sold the duvet because it was just so cosy. Also we had very noisy neighbours which i dont mind a little noise you pay money to enjoy yourself so go ahead and enjoy it but it was obnoxiously loud and the staff got right onto it which was much more pleseant

The size of the room was actually alot smaller then expected from the photos which honestly isn't a huge deal, but my main complain is there light switch arrangement, so next to the bed they obviously have switches none of the ones near the bed switch the "bathroom" light on so in the middle of the night u either switch the lights on for ur whole room which is SO BRIGHT or you have to walk to the front door in the pitch black and then try and switch a switch which is also black so you cant see what ur pressing i will attach photos so you can see what I mean , the buffet breakfast honestly was a let down the bacon and sausages where inedible but the scrambled eggs where delicious , we did pay for breakfast for 2 days we didnt eat the second day, so I feel like this review isn't fare because the day we didn't eat was the breakfast you order which could of been alot better, Also the power points dont look australian there universal ones which i didnt try and use because i didnt want to stick something into something it didnt look like it belonged but after a couple of hours I finally called reception and he explained .. maybe tou should have a sign to say its universal and will work for normall plugs One other thing was there was a expanded clean used tampon out the front of someones door which isn't the hotel fault but was very uncomfortable maybe they could just do walk through of the floors a bit more regularly so this kind of thing doesnt get un noticed
