The staff were of a high standard of service and were very polite and friendly. The location was perfect. Close to where the heart of Rishikesh pulses with the vibrancy of true India.

The staff was very nice.
We arrived at the hotel and were shocked to discover that there are 2 huge construction sites next to the hotel, one in front and one behind it.
Meaning, for 8 am to 12 pm the sound of drilling. After midnight, the hammering continues till around 2 am. The rooms are not acoustically isolated and it feels as if the construction workers are hammering the room next door. The noise was so loud, you can barely talk without shouting. And, of course, also not able to use the balcony or let any light in the room by opening the curtains unless you enjoy having 40 men staring at you, as if they had never seen a single woman in their lives.
There was no hot water or any kind of amenities in the room (tee, coffee) and the water would come and go, meaning it just stopped in the meaning of the ice cold shower while you are covered in soap.
And, even though it states clearly on booking that payment with mastercard or visa is possible, they only accepted cash.
