About this house rental
Relax and enjoy the view. Our newly built home is situated in a private gated community between the sound and the ocean on the eastern end of Sunset Beach providing the best of both worlds. This oceanfront property offers an easily accessible ramp for strollers, wheelchairs, and bicycles. On the sound side is a dock with boat slip and the ability to indulge in water sports or fishing. A heated saltwater pool and spa, turfed recreation area, fire pit, pool table, and ping pong table provide plenty of outdoor enjoyment. A large sundeck as well as two large covered decks with seating/lounging cater to sun lovers and to those who prefer the shade. An elevator accessing each floor of the home from the garage allows easy transport of luggage and groceries. The first floor is equipped with a fully furnished kitchen with two refrigerators, dishwashers, and microwaves as well as a large range making cooking and cleaning up a breeze for large groups. Take advantage of the coffee bar that has two coffee makers and an electric teapot as well as a wet bar with an ice maker and a drink cooler. The spacious downstairs open floor plan as well as two large dining tables allow for gathering and sharing meals. The master suite offers a desk as well as a luxury bath with a soaking tub and a walk in shower. An additional powder room is also located on the first floor. The second floor holds 6 bedrooms each with a private bathroom. These include two king rooms, two queen rooms, and two double full bunk rooms. The laundry room is equipped with two washers and dryers. A sitting room overlooking the sound is the perfect place to unwind and watch the sunset. On a rainy day, children and adults alike can be entertained in the game room with video games, board games, shuffleboard, and seating to lounge and watch a movie.

We just spent a week at this beautiful home. We ranged in age from 3 1/2 - 78. There were 19 of us. The house had enough space for everyone. The kitchen was stocked better than my own (lol). The views, both front and back were amazing. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay easy and comfortable. The pool is perfect, the beach close by, the fishing in the sound so much fun!

Our family enjoyed our stay at The Pale Whale. The home, amenities, beachfront and views were amazing. Communication was great. We plan on coming back next year!

This house is immaculate- it’s everything you could ever want! Fully loaded kitchen - double everything: dishwashers, washer and dryers, fridges! Tons of clean and new/like-new pots, pans, servingware, flatware. There’s so much space- tons of seating inside and outside. There is even a luggage storage room if you wanted it out of your way. There is shampoo, conditioner and body wash, hand soap and moisturizer in every bathroom. There is a great outdoor grill that is clean and ready to use. One of the best things is ZERO STAIRS to get to the beach. The host is very responsive. There is literally nothing the owners didn’t think of when designing and outfitting this perfect beach getaway! We hope to be back in 2027!

The house and Adrian were awesome! She was always very quick to reply abut any questions I might have! And she’s very nice! The house is beautiful and all the amenities made our vacation perfect! We will be returning next Thanksgiving!
