We used this as our base to explore the Inverness/Loch Ness region on a recent road trip around Scotland and were pleasantly surprised by this excellent accommodation.
The best thing about the lodge is its location. Evanton is less than 30 minutes drive north of Inverness, just off the A9 which forms part of the iconic North Coast 500 route. Accommodation is understandably at a premium in this popular area, so this lodge is terrific value for money.
The accommodation is a static mobile home in a quiet, well established caravan park. The kitchen is fairly well equipped for self catering (we did our shopping in Inverness, but there is a Co-op in Evanton).
There is an en suite toilet in the main bedroom in addition to the bathroom.
The property allows dogs and there is an enclosed area next to the stream which forms the property boundary where you can let your dog off lead.
There is a dedicated parking space and ramp access up to the generously proportioned raised decking area around the lodge (which can be closed off using a gate).
If you're on a road trip or planning to stay for some time, the on site laundry facilities may come in handy.
We really enjoyed our stay here. However, be aware that it's a modestly proportioned mobile home (and - to its credit - doesn't pretend to be otherwise). The second bedroom in particular is very small and our two adult children found it a bit cramped. It would however be fine for smaller children.

Very nice and spacious lodge. The host is very nice, and did the utmost for us to have a comfortable stay. The river runs close to the property, and gives a nice ambient atmosphere.
The bed was a tad soft for larger people
