Great accommodation. Very clean and everything you need. Location is excellent - about 20 minutes into central Nottingham and 3 pubs and a local store within walking distance. Thoroughly recommend.

The room was a good size and clean and well decorated. A mini fridge was a nice extra. It is on a quiet street in a pleasant village. Ideal if visiting someone nearby and handy for Nottingham too. The access process worked well and Mags replied quickly and helpfully to my questions. A corner shop was nearby for basic groceries.
I could have done with a small table or wooden seated chair to put near the bed for my tea. The shelf well above the bed was awkward for that purpose. I couldn't see the name Swallow's Nest outside the property, so wandered about a bit up the street, though eventually found a house number in one of the emails. A more specific direction like first drive on the right might help. Not really a tourist location but ideal if visiting the area for a particular purpose.

Very comfy bed, spotlessly clean & great shower.
Easy to access via key safe. Off road parking. Close to M1 but very quiet and good area.
Booked specifically because of the EV charger. I advised I’d be arriving late & asked how to use it. Was told just needed to plug in and push the button on the wall unit.
Was leaving early the next morning to drive 150 miles. The EV unit had stopped charging and I had just 50 miles range instead over 200.
Had to stop elsewhere to charge and missed the appointments I had that morning.
The EV charger seemed new but I’m not sure the owner knew how it operated. I advise checking this before booking.
Had I been able to charge successfully I would have rated the property very highly.
