Basic, but as expected for a posh camping weekend
When we booked we thought we’d got a shower & wc to be shared with our daughter who we thought would be in the pod next door to us as requested & acknowledged. My daughter had a shower & wc. We didn’t. We were separated with 4 pods between us. I think there were around 8 other pods, occupied by groups of families who meet up each year. When they knew we were separated & surrounded by their group they kindly offered to move things around so we could be together. That was very kind but we couldn’t accepts it had taken so long to move all our stuff in. The point I’m making is, clearly our request to be next door when we booked was only given lip-service. The site owners couldn’t have bothered to move things around to accommodate our request & had they tried, there would have been no issue. Slightly disappointed. Wanted to clean the floor in the pod better but struggled on being given a brush with no dustpan to make a proper job of it

Good space inside and the small heater helped to warm inside on an evening.
The blinds need replacing.
Would be helpful to have a few hooks to hand coats

Location was brilliant, park was small which was ideal, great to have the options of types of accommodation and we were fortunate to be a bit tucked away from the busy areas which suited our family. Park was great for kids of mixed ages. Pool was great however not ideal to book time slots as it felt a bit less fun and was booked up very fast.
Beds weren’t very comfy and having a waterproof cover to the mattress made them hot. Pods were sweltering from the heat which is somewhat expected for the weather but worth noting.

Nice camp site, clean and well maintained and staff friendly.
The bed in the bell tent was really uncomfortable as the mattress was so thin and I struggled to sleep. There was no where open on site in the evening to buy food or drink and the nearest shops were a drive away, which meant that when we arrived I had to head straight back out to get food.
