The property was clean and tidy and was in the centre of a pretty town close to alton towers. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the blackout curtains were great.
There is only one shelf in the oven and only one oven tray, which meant we couldn’t all eat together.
We also couldn’t find a chopping board, apart from that we couldn’t fault it.

Location, was the best part of our experience. The cottage was on the whole clean & tidy. Parking was free in the road opposite and it was a short walk to the shops and bars etc
Getting the keys was a faff. They use an online portal run by The Travel Fox Team, whose payment portal kept crashing. When we did get it working it asked for a £150 refundable damage deposit ( held for 7 days ! ) or you can pay a non refundable £20 waiver, which on top of the £25 "cleaning fee" is a liberty. Only when you pay one of these options are you given the key code to get the cottage keys.
The property has no bath,, just a shower and toilet on the ground floor and the stairs are quite steep to the bedrooms on the top 2 floors. The living room sofa bed was stained on the seat. Overall this place is ok but nowhere near the premium price charged,
