The location of the property is very centrally located in the lovely village of Ashbourne. You are mere steps from many lovely and delicious restaurants, cafes, and pubs, and within walking distance of many trails. As for the property, it is beautifully appointed and very comfortable. There were no problems with wifi or appliances that we used (did not use the laundry). Linens and towels are of high quality.
As far as logistical details, you can easily reach Ashbourne from London even without a car. Take the EMR train to Derby and then grab an Uber or taxi to Ashbourne (approximately 30 minutes). There is also apparently a bus you can take from the Derby train station to Ashbourne. Once in Ashbourne, you can access everything you need on foot. If you would like to explore more of the surrounding countryside, there are bike rentals available.
The village is very beautiful architecturally and has a surprising number of stores and eateries. Our meals in Ashbourne were far better than many we had in London.
No major problems at all. To get very picky, there was no body wash in the shower, so bring your own body wash or soap. Also, there were no napkins or paper towels in the kitchen, so recommend the property add those or otherwise make sure to grab a few if you will be eating at the property (there is easy access to several grocery stores).

Everything about this apartment was amazing – all the furniture, the kitchen and bathroom seemed practically brand new. The apartment was really spacious and was in a fabulous location . Don’t be put off by no private parking as there are car parks close by and somewhere to stop the car and unload bags just a minute’s walk away. Would definitely recommend and would stay again on any future visit.

Property was well presented and maintained.nice central location
It was very close to the road and constantly woken by the trucks unloading during the night to the shops opposite - I guess the price for a central location but would stop me booking again
