The location was very nice, situated in a pleasant area. Staff was also friendly.
We stayed here with a friend and chose this place because it looked very cozy and home-like, especially with a fireplace in the room. Unfortunately, the experience did not match our expectations.
When we arrived, the room was quite cold and had a musty, unpleasant smell. It seemed like smoke or odor from fireplaces in other rooms, or possibly from our own fireplace was coming into the room, which made the air feel stuffy.
One of the reasons we booked this place was the fireplace, but it turned out to be unusable. It appeared to be blocked or not functioning properly, so we couldn’t light a fire at all.
Another serious issue was the lack of hot water. We had to take showers with cold water, which is simply not acceptable for any accommodation and should be a basic standard.
Overall, the place did not deliver on what was advertised, and the lack of functioning heating elements and hot water made the stay quite uncomfortable. I hope these issues will be addressed for future guests.
