Bad

We were extremely dissatisfied with our stay in this apartment. We had booked it for 27 days, but ended up leaving after just 10 days because we felt completely uncomfortable staying there. One of the main reasons we chose this apartment was the walk-in shower. I had my wrist in a cast and specifically needed a shower that would be easy and safe to use. However, upon arrival, we discovered that there was no walk-in shower at all, but a bathtub instead. On top of that, the showerhead could not even be hung up. This made showering extremely inconvenient and was absolutely not what we expected based on the listing. The bathroom was also completely different from what the pictures suggested. In the photos, it looked modern, but in reality, it was very outdated. The pictures gave us a misleading impression of the accommodation. Another unpleasant surprise was being told upon arrival that we also had to pay extra for gas and electricity. Before booking, we had not seen any information about these additional charges on the listing on bol.com. We checked the information three more times afterwards and still could not find anything about these costs. However, we were later sent a screenshot supposedly showing that the charges had been mentioned. This only made the situation more suspicious, as we had been unable to find this information ourselves. From the very first day, we felt misled and as though we had been taken advantage of. To make matters worse, rubbish was thrown onto our balcony twice during the night. We cannot say for certain who was responsible, but this certainly did not contribute to a pleasant stay.
