I really liked the area around the hotel. Being in the Old Quarter meant we had lots of food options just a short walk away, from small local places to cafés and restaurants. We spent quite a bit of time walking around the nearby streets and stopping whenever we saw somewhere that looked interesting. Getting around was also pretty easy, and we didn't need to use a taxi for every short trip. The area can be busy, but we actually enjoyed having so much going on around us.

Everyone I spoke to here was really nice and easy to deal with. The staff were always happy to help whenever I needed something, whether it was a quick question or a small request. They had a friendly attitude without being too formal, which I liked. Nothing ever felt like a hassle, and I felt comfortable asking for help when I needed it. They were also good at giving clear answers instead of making things more complicated.

We didn't stay at the booked hotel as they advised they had an electrical issue and took us to an alternate hotel down the lane went from a 3 star to a 2 star although to be fair they did reduce the rate accordingly, but it was not what was booked.
