A hidden treasure.
I arrived late and it was very dark of course as in the middle of the countryside. Maybe needed to give a sign to the front door

It was so beautiful and full of plants! Very calming and peaceful. Our room was perfect for us as it had the sofa in too. The huge sunken bath was amazing for couples!
A bit of a drive to get around to places but if you are okay with driving then worth it for the accommodation.
We like a dark room and the king room has a skylight over the TV sofa area which doesn’t have a blind as up high in the eves of the roof so in the summer the sun is up early early and lights up the room! I brought a sleeping eye mask to help with that!

The room was a nice size, bathroom was gorgeous. Bed was very comfort. Nice touch with tea, coffee and sugar.
Arrived in the dark, could do with more lighting outside. Once we got in the house it was all in darkness, never been there before so no idea where lights were. It was very uninviting and a little un nerving, that and the different door codes. Pillows had a musty smell as did the shower. Outside areas unkempt looking. All in all a bit of a strange place. Don’t like be asked to strip the beds, I’m having a break away I don’t want to do chores!
