The apartment is right in the middle of Akureyri and close to the town church / bus station and even the airport. Room was well decorated, had a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable double beds, TV with wifi and a nice balcony. The checkin was smooth.
The blinds are not enough during summer as there is a lot of sunlight thats enters it. But the view to the fjord makes up for it.

Good location, very central and close to the sea.
It was smelling like the drain was blocked. We didn't want to use any of the utensils because the cupboards didn't smell good either. The checkin was only at 5pm, which I think is a bit cheeky to be honest.
