The property was well situated but could do with small maintenance tasks being carried - blinds reattached to stop glare

A good stay overall

Great location, next to bus stop of free intercity buses, and across the road from the Hof Centre. Spacious apartment and beds were comfortable. Washing machine and dryer available. Great place for a big group, and the kitchen area was great for making own meals. Heating in all rooms making the apartment nice and cosy in the cold of Akureyri. Remember to bring your own toiletries. Just over 15 mins walk away from Krónan and Netto,

Even though there was a machine washing, there was no washing powder/ detergent. I emailed the owner to refill the washing powder tin, but there was never a response nor was my request carried out. These next issues are minor but it would enhance the living experience even better: lighting in main living area were not bright enough, needed a floor bath towel, freezer needed defrosting, couple of windows in living area had blinds missing.

Vantar að taka íbúðina í gegn. Ísskápur og eldavél vel lúinn. Brotinn skáphurð í eldhúsi. Engar teskeiðar. Vantaði gluggatjöld í eldhúsi. Hjónarúmið slappt og lakið passaði ekki alveg á rúmið.
