This was the top rated place we got chance to stay in Akureyri and much recommended to all as i loved every bit corner of that loving home. The surrounding was beautiful just next to the lake and isolated and personnel and the inside house was accomplished with all needed facilities including a loving Jacuzzi out under sky !! would rank as best of my experience in whole of Iceland !!

Nice house on a very nice place.
Chaotic check-in. Promissed to send the house number and the instructions one day before, but we had received the message one day AFTER our arrival. So we had to call the contact phone number to a lady with limited English.

The place was just right for us. It felt private and close to nature, surrounded by sweeping views, birdsond and horses. The beds and bathroom were comfortable enough and the kitchen well-equipped. We could easily have stayed longer.
The rooms were very hot when we arrived. The numbering of the cabins could have been more visible from the dirt road. The instructions were clear though.

Poor lighting with 3 out of 4 blown bulb.
Far from city without much view.
Expensive.
You are required to clean the house before checking out, else the host with charge u for cleaning fees. We were expected to mop the floor, clean the shower room and kitchen, remove the bed linens and empty the bins before checking out.

Everything was perfect. I couldn’t ask for more. Thanks and definitely coming again if I visited Iceland, highly recommended for everyone

Nice natural surroundings with birds and horses and you can see the sea. Remote location - peaceful and quiet. Nice hot tub to end the day.
Too many cleaning rules given. We paid to use the house for a fee yet made to feel like a maid. You can be charged 100 euro. The list includes dusting the living room, cleaning the toilet and vacuuming the floor. Maybe that should be spelt out in the booking.com booking page so people can be informed first before deciding if they want to stay.

Hot pot was great, evenings on the private terasse with beautiful view.
Added fee for linens 20 euros per bed. It would be better if it is included in price for accomodation.

A bit cold, booking doesn't indicate that this is sort of self service facility, you need to clean after yourself, but to be fair it is organized well enough

Additional pillows. My wife and I both usually sleep with 2 pillows. Outlet adapters for United States pluggins.

Great location on the edge of Akureyri. Close enough to enjoy the facilities but far enough for peace and stunning views. Warm house and fabulous hot tub.
Sound proofing between rooms not great and one bathroom between 7 slowed us down a bit but neither affected a great stay. No contact with any staff but this was fine

The location is outstanding and we were even able seeing northern lights just from our terrace!
Despite we had some issues with the hot tub on december 31 the host was so kind to organize an alternative for us!

Reported cold house when we artived, recieved flippant answers.
Not jmpressed with the veiled threats of fines if the apartment wasnt cleaned the their very long list of requirements. Will not be back.

The property is located at a good distance from city center and the activities the area has to offer. Everything was as expected with the accommodations.

Nice and quiet location with quick access to nice and interessting spots to visit. BBQ and Hot Pot available and convenient to use. Good privacy due to the distance to the other houses. Parking right next to house.

Large vacation home, close to Akuyeri. Beds were made, kitchen was well equipped, hot pot (jacuzzi) was a nice plus.
