Ms Claudia met us and allowed us to check in early, which we appreciated since we very very jet lagged. She described how to get to various stores, sights, and restaurants. She checked in halfway through our stay to make sure everything was okay.
Casa Calpernia is literally a 15 minute walk from the Colosseum. It’s basically a studio apartment queen bed and then two beds in the entry so it’s fine for four adults. The apartment opens up into a lovely courtyard. There was really everything we needed to get started in the morning, including coffee and sugar and a full refrigerator. It was easy to get around to the sites from the apartment, including walking to the train station to board our night tour bus. There are two stores and a number of great restaurants on the street. I highly recommend Casa Calpurnia.
The bathroom door didn’t lock (SO Minor and easily fixable).

Location was excellent, The Colosseum was at the end of the street! We could walk to all the main tourist attractions of Rome. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. Metro 13 minutes walk away. The apartment was lovely and bright, with plenty of space for four adults.
