Darren and Elena are super nice, very responsive, helpful. The room was more clean and tidy than our expectation, the size is well enough for us as a family of 2 adults and a kid. The room was quite, we can neither hear any noise from downstair during the whole night. Shower gel and shampoo are provided and the main bed is comfortable.

One car park space at the property. Close to York Park and Ride. Quiet, spacious room. Toby carvery across the road for a quick, low cost meal.
The staircase treads are not very deep so you will walk down on your heels if you have big feet! Stair case is a bit slippery and quite steep up to the guest bedroom - beware if you are unsteady on your feet.
There is no TV in the bedroom. The main bed is only a double and the mattress is a bit too thin for the hard base it is on. I'm 70kg and it was just about okay. If you weigh a lot more I imagine you'll find it uncomfortable.
The individual wall lights for reading are too bright and too high; softer low level bedside lamps would be better (for us).
