Tastefully Furnished

The hosts were waiting for us to hand over the keys which made that process simple and were there to show the house facilities including where to deposit the garbage. The location of the apartment is very good for access to bistros, supermarkets and a couple of boulangeries. The apartment is tastefully furnished and has all the appliances and utilities one could need. The balcony made a wonderful area to sit and sip wine as we took in the late afternoon sun.

The apartment is clearly very much lived in when not being rented out so the number of sectioned off areas is higher than one would expect in a typical short term rental. Being unable to use the vegetable container in the fridge or freezer compartments especially on a week long stay made things just a little awkward. This was also applicable to the bedroom where one would open a drawer that hadn't been sealed off only to find it full of intimate clothing.

Space and location were great.

Due to the unusually cool weather in spring during our stay, we really needed access to an extra blanket for the bed, especially as there was no heating turned on for the apartment.
