The location was perfect especially for the Park and Ride to York. The kitchen was well-equipped and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The shower was excellent as was the hairdryer and hot water. Altogether a delightful place to stay. It was extremely convenient having the parade of shops opposite. All in all, excellent.
This is just being picky... There were plenty of mirrors but I missed a magnifying mirror to apply cosmetics and having somewhere to hang my clothes as there was no wardrobe or hangers, but I have to add there was an ironing board and iron.

Location was perfect. So easy to catch a bus straight into York with the two dogs….more or less a door to door service.
The village has a great pub, Sunday lunch was fab. The bakery across the road was lovely, nothing beats fresh bread for breakfast. Middle Cottage was comfortable and clean, and nicely furnished, with everything you need. We will be back.
We thought that the glass shower screen was a bit of a hazard, next to the door…we covered it with a towel so we didn’t worry about bumping into it, especially at night.

Beautiful, stylish accommodation with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Lovely welcome treats, even some for our dog.
Supermarket and superb bakery just across the road and a pub a short walk away.
The seating area at the back of the cottage is nice to sit out on.
