Waste of time and money

We booked this apartment. Near midnight we arrived from airport, but couldn't get into apartment. It was said that apartment in the 2nd block, but entrance was on reconstruction, so we have to enter through 3rd block. We entered there and couldn't find a way to the 2nd block, couldn't find a lock with keys to the apartment. We managed to get out of the territory and had to look for another hotel after midnight with heavy bags in our hands. We wrote to the host, but got answer only about 10 hours later. Answer was: "you should go to 2nd section from the 3rd through a corridor". We asked a refund since we've already taken apartment in another hotel. But got answer: "Unfortunately, at this stage, after your departure and without the possibility to verify the situation on-site we are no longer able to determine exactly what happened."

I DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING THERE.

Decent bed. Spacious.

Quite dated especially the kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom gave off a rotten egg smell and moldy smell as well. Not enough heating (the room was quite cold) as the heating was centrally controlled by the building. So the host cannot do anything about it, which was a minus point. Finally, the WORSE part was that the entrance door to the apartment was closed for construction works! They didn’t warn me or provide alternative solutions. Just tell me try again try again. I sent them the photos but I already checked out from the apartment. It was very strange that the host apparently don’t know about the construction works and asked for photo evidence. I arrived late at night and followed the self check-in procedures provided by the host until I saw the entrance door being barricaded up for construction works. So imagine my horror at night with no one to help me. The host didn’t reply me very fast when I messaged them. Until some resident came to my rescue and let me into the building. And the apartment is very far from Warsaw Central train station and main square as well. The nearest main train station is Warszawa Zachodnia. So I don’t recommend staying there, citing the inefficient communication with the host.

Enjoyable stay with very minor drawbacks

A cozy apartment with a charming appearance and rustic odor that greets you right as you enter it. The hosts were very nice and helpful, making us feel like valued guests. The apartment had most of the things you need as well which made things even better. The one thing I would have loved to have was some washing pods for the washing machine but this is not that big of a deal. Same goes for shower gel and what not. You gotta bring your own. I wish the chairs were a bit more comfortable in the dormitory. Aside from the grey one with the full backrest the others are kind of a pain to sit on. At least the bed is very comfortable. Another thing is that for some reason both of the tables have a sticky surface. I'm not sure why. It's not a huge deal. But a bit awkward. During my stay the water had a strange, sulfur like smell. I bought bottled water to be safe.

Dla mnie była to idealna lokalizacja, tuż przy Instytucie Matki i Dziecka. Przyjemny skwerek w pobliżu, tramwaj, sklepy, gastronomia. W bloku winda. W mieszkaniu duża szafa, w kuchni podstawowe sprzęty. W miarę czysto. Pościel i ręczniki świeże. Bezproblemowe zameldowanie i wymeldowanie.

Łazienka maleńka a zasłona prysznicowa słabo spełnia swoją funkcję. Klejący stół - nie wiem o co chodzi.
