Take the elevator to the top floor of this spacious 2 bedroom/ 2 bath beach condominium at Loggerhead Cay. This condo is meticulously maintained, updated and is loaded with extras and has the convenience of easy access to everything. This beautiful condo sleeps 6 and was recently refurbished throughout. It has a new king-sized bed and mattress in the master suite, a new queen-size bed and mattress and a twin bed with pull-out trundle in the guest room. For additional seating and enjoyment, there is a screened-in 4 season lanai with floor-to-ceiling, glass sliding doors. The condo has a new (2021) 55-inch 4K Smart TV with high-speed internet, plus a TV in each bedroom. The unit is equipped with a washer and dryer. The condo also offers a contact-free check-in option, by using our recently upgraded keyless entry system. Loggerhead Cay resort is located on the desirable east end of the Island, directly on the sandy beaches of Sanibel Island-ideal for long beach walks and shelling! The resort common areas feature 2 tennis/pickle ball courts, a large heated pool, shuffleboard, outdoor grilling, and more. And for those who like the outdoors and exploring the island, Loggerhead Cay has easy access to bike and walking paths, the causeway, the fishing pier, historic Lighthouse Park, Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge and much more. There are also a wide variety of restaurants located nearby on the island, along with grocery stores and unique boutique shops. Once you stay at Loggerhead Cay 324 once, you'll be hooked, and we are sure you will want to come back to #324 year after year. Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked this rental through VRBO and before our stay the owner sold the property. The property management was handled by SVP for our stay. Check-in was easy and the woman who helped us was very pleasant. However, when we went to get into the unit the code provided didn't unlock the door. The keys provided also didn't work. After trying multiple times and tracking down the security guard on the property (who couldn't help), we called SVP. The person on call was already off the island and said it would be about 40 minutes before she could get back. While we were waiting we contacted the former owner to see if she could help, and she promptly responded with the correct code and detailed instructions regarding our stay there. The SVP on-call person did arrive as promised and brought the master keys, which she left with us for the week. It turns out that the incorrect keys were copied, and the SVP employee blamed the former owner for everything, never once apologizing. We also discovered that the storage unit key didn't work and that there were actually two storage units. Thanks to the former owner we were able to figure this out. The internet access information provided upon check in was also incorrect, though the correct information was posted in the unit. The unit itself is nice. The beach isn't really visible from the lanai, but the lanai is really nice. The beach is about a 1/4 mile walk from the building. The furniture in the unit is very nice and it was very clean when we arrived. The pots and pans in the kitchen are in rough shape. Most of them are nonstick and are peeling and unusable. There were three pans that we could actually use. There are plenty of glasses and an adequate amount of dishes for four people. The dishwasher, washer, and dryer worked great. The A/C didn't seem to be working very well in the master suite. That area was always damp during our stay. Overall, we would not recommend based on the unprofessional customer service provided by SVP.

The condo is large and has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. It is close to the beach, so it is easy going out after dark to collect shells at low tide (for those of us who are crazy enough to do that). For those of you who want to sit on the beach in the sun, the condo has chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc. for you to use. The pool is great and a good size, plus the condo has some pool toys you can use. The condo also has tennis rackets and balls to use on the courts. Overall, you can’t go wrong renting this condo - just don’t take the week I want next year!😄

The owner made bikes and beach equipment available for our use so we did not have to rent or buy. All this contributed to a great two two weeks on Sanibel.

The management company was organized friendly and helped us with anything we needed along with the condo owner. A definite plus to have people care and generous. We had a wonderful time biking(owner offered her bikes) saved me $90! And a beautiful comfortable condo. The Pool and grounds were perfect for our small children and the beach was a slight walk but we enjoyed quick acesss to other things like grills and bike paths. We enjoyed this property after several days of driving in traffic to captiva we quickly realized being on this end near the bridge had benefits. I would highly recommend this unit and property. The only downside was a barking dog in a unit around us twice a day that apparently needed outside. Just normal condo life.

Several of our friends were in other units and were jealous of all that we had, that they had to rent (beach chairs, umbrellas, beach buggy, toys etc). It was very clean! We felt lucky to have picked this unit.
