The Property
Escape to the Lake of Egypt, surrounded by the beauty of Southern Illinois and the Shawnee National Forest. Tucked among the trees with a private dock and plenty of outdoor space, this property is made for lake days, family getaways, fishing trips, and evenings around the fire.
Your stay includes the main house plus two separate cabins, providing plenty of room to spread out while still vacationing together. Sleeps up to 14 guests—Main House sleeps 6, Lakeside View Cabin sleeps 4, and Brown Bear Bunkhouse sleeps 4.

It features a queen bedroom and king bed in the loft, full bathroom, comfortable family room overlooking the water, and kitchenette with coffee bar, mini fridge and sink. The front porch is a favorite spot for morning coffee or evening stargazing.
Brown Bear Bunkhouse — Sleeps 4
A cozy, rustic cabin tucked among the trees with warm wood details and plenty of character. The Bunkhouse features a full-size bed in the main sleeping area and twin bunk beds in a separate bunk room, plus a full bathroom and dedicated coffee bar.

Was the perfect location for our family trip! The kids loved the lake and the cabins were perfect for family time and still getting some away time from each other too. Very clean and well stocked with all of the essentials.
